Come hear Jolene Funk at the 2nd annual White Ribbon Conference at Ryerson University!

Jolene Funk  is in her 3rd year of Biomedical engineering here at Ryerson. She is currently the Vice President External for the Ryerson Engineering Student Society and has been very involved with them over the past 2 years.  She is also part of the Women in Engineering Group which hosts events such as Go Eng girl for high school girls.  Being a female in engineering has also allowed her to become involved with other events around Ryerson such as the December 6th Memorial over the past few years.  She regularly meets with professionals and delegates from other schools to develop leadership communicate ideas and look at issues and initiatives towards increasing interest in the field and leadership roles for women in engineering.


Join us at  What Makes A Man. Higher Unlearning: The 2012 White Ribbon Conference on Saturday February 11th to hear Jolene and many other speakers speak at a discussion-focused conference looking at the spectrum of identities, experiences and realities that determine ‘What Makes a Man’.
